Yes, and this is the most common way it's used. Add the optional hanging chain and suspend it from a backdrop stand, a curtain rail, or a balloon arch frame — no drilling, no adhesive, nothing left behind. Bring a short extension lead too; rental living rooms rarely have an outlet exactly where you want the sign.

✈️ Can I take it on a plane?+

It's lightweight and shatterproof, so it travels far better than glass would — but it's a rigid acrylic panel, so check the dimensions against your airline's baggage rules before you book. The 20 x 15 in and 24 x 18 in sizes fit most checked bags; the larger sizes generally won't. Pack it flat in the original box with clothing either side, and carry the adapter separately.

28 x 21 in or larger. With a group of people standing in front of it, anything smaller gets partly hidden and stops reading in the photo. It's also at its strongest indoors or after dark — for a daytime shower in a bright room, go one size up again.

Only under a dry covered structure — a marquee, a covered terrace, a cabana. It's rated for indoor, dry use and isn't weatherproof, so it needs to stay well clear of pool splash, sprinklers, and damp night air.
