📏 Neon Sign Sizes — How to Pick the Right One

Six sizes, from 20 x 16 in up to 40 x 31 in. Match it to the width of the bar, counter, or wall beneath it.

💡 Sizing rule: your sign should span roughly one-half to two-thirds of the width beneath it. A standard bar cart is about 32 in wide, so 20 x 16 in or 24 x 19 in suits it. A built-in home bar run is usually 5–6 ft, which calls for 28 x 22 in or 32 x 25 in — this design is a centrepiece, and undersizing it is the most common mistake here.

💵 Why is this one more expensive than your other signs?+

Price follows the amount of LED tubing and hand-bending each design needs. Happy Hour is two full words in a flowing script with a lot of curves, so there's considerably more tube per inch than a short block-letter design — and more work to shape it. It's also our largest design at every size step. If you want the same look for less, our Cheers and Open Bar designs sit in the same collection at a lower price.

🍸 Will it be too bright above a bar?+

At this size, at full brightness, yes — for a quiet evening. It's a statement piece and it behaves like one. Add the $6 dimmer and you get both: bright when people are over, low and warm when they're not. On this design specifically, it's the add-on we'd recommend before any other.

📏 What size do I need for a built-in home bar?+

Most built-in bars run 5–6 ft wide, which calls for 28 x 22 in or 32 x 25 in. The 24 x 19 in is our best seller because it suits bar carts and standard kitchen counters, but on a full bar wall it can look undersized. Measure the wall, take half to two-thirds of that width, and pick the nearest size up rather than down.

🧽 How do I clean it in a bar or kitchen?+

Switch it off, let it cool, and wipe with a soft damp cloth. Avoid solvents and abrasive cleaners, and spray the cloth rather than the sign. Doing it every few weeks stops kitchen grease and smoke residue building up in the curves.

🏬 Can I use it in a commercial bar or restaurant?+

Yes — it's indoor-rated, runs cool, and uses a fraction of the power glass neon would across full trading hours. Get in touch before ordering if you need multiple signs, matched colourways across a space, or a custom sign with your venue's name, and we'll work out sizing and lead times with you.

It's LED neon — flexible LED tubing engineered to replicate the glow of glass, without the fragility, heat, or power draw. On a design this size, that's also the difference between something you can hang yourself and something that needs an installer.

🔨 How do I hang it?+

Pre-drilled holes and all hardware are included. Mark the holes, drill, fit the spacers, hang it, and plug it in. At the larger sizes it's an easier job with two people — one to hold, one to mark and drill.
