Six sizes, from 20 x 12 in up to 40 x 23 in. Match it to the width of the furniture or wall space beneath it.

💡 Sizing rule: your sign should span roughly one-half to two-thirds of the width beneath it. A large dog crate is about 42 in wide, which puts 24 x 14 in right above it. Above a sofa, go 28 x 16 in.

🐶 Is it safe to hang above a dog bed or crate?+

The sign itself is low voltage, cool to the touch and shatterproof, so it's far safer overhead than glass would be. The thing to manage is the cord — plenty of dogs chew cables, especially puppies. Run it behind furniture, use a cord cover, or choose a spot where the cable reaches an outlet without crossing open floor. Mount the sign into the wall rather than resting it on a shelf.

🔇 Will the sign bother my dog?+

It shouldn't. Dogs hear well above our range, and traditional glass neon transformers produce an audible hum that carries further for them than for us. This runs on a low-voltage LED driver with no transformer buzz, and it emits no heat. If your dog is particularly sensitive to light while sleeping, add the dimmer and run it low.

Yes — our Meow sign is the companion piece, in the same twelve colours. It's a slimmer design, so if you're hanging them as a pair, position them by matching the width you want rather than expecting identical proportions. Two signs together clears the $250 free shipping threshold.

🚪 Can I put it in a mudroom or utility room?+

Yes, provided it's a dry indoor space. A mudroom is fine; anywhere that gets genuinely damp — an unheated garage in winter, a room with a shower, an uninsulated porch — isn't. It's rated for indoor, dry use only.

🌙 Is it dimmable?+

Yes, with the optional dimmer add-on. Above a crate or a bed it works nicely as a low night light rather than a full-brightness sign.

💡 Is this real neon?+

It's LED neon — flexible LED tubing engineered to replicate the glow of glass, without the fragility, heat, or power draw. In a home with pets, the shatterproof part is the one that matters.
